She was always ready with coffee, baked goodies and great conversation when family, friends and customers dropped by to visit. Surviving family includes: daughter – Nancy Chism of Bluffton, TX, son – Wayne Chism of Llano, TX, daughter – Patsy Altenhoff and her husband David Altenhoff of New Braunfels, TX, and daughter – Donna O’Leary of Hutto, TX.

Marthlyn was preceded in death by her parents - Stella and W. Burnett, husband - Raymon Chism, son – Rusty Chism, sister - Francis Fisher, and brothers – Jack Burnett and W. Grandchildren include Travis O’Leary and wife Rachel O’Leary of Austin, TX, Tyler O’Leary of Hutto, TX, and Mark Altenhoff of New Braunfels, TX.

Anabel joined her late great grandchild Tristyn and is preceded by her great grandchildren; Lexus, Preston, Grayson, Jade, Kylee, and Haddie.

Anabel will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and dear friends.

He graduated from Llano High School and attended the University of Texas, earning a BS in Civil Engineering and a Masters in Environmental Health.

Bill was the most loving, faithful, patience, honest, modest and kind man.

Anabel loved the holidays and family get-togethers.

She was known for her feisty, yet good sense of humor and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

The couple settled in Kingsland in the early 1970’s, where they raised their three children; Tammy, Katie and Rhonda. She was very proud of her family and was excited to become a “Nannybell” to her 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

She moved to Llano in 1949, where she became Home Demonstration Agent, teaching 4-H, as well as the Women’s Community Homemaking Clubs for Llano County.
